Every cat and kitten in our care has been deeply loved from the moment they arrive. We take the responsibility of placing them into forever homes seriously, which is why we have a thoughtful adoption process designed to protect their well-being.

Our Adoption Philosophy

We believe cats deserve:

  • Safe, indoor-only homes

  • Proper medical care and lifetime protection

  • Companionship and enrichment

  • A family committed to them for life

Our policies aren’t meant to exclude — they exist to ensure every cat leaves our care with the best possible future.

Before You Apply

Please review our adoption guidelines before submitting an application:

✔ Indoor-only homes
✔ Kittens must have a feline companion (another kitten or an existing cat)
✔ Spay/neuter required before adoption is finalized
✔ No declawing — ever
✔ Microchipped for life (PurrJoy remains a secondary contact)
✔ Donation-based adoption
✔ Return-to-rescue policy if rehoming is ever needed
